We've owned the HP 1200 for 3 years now with only success. It has been largely hassle free and very quickly pays for itself. The printer handles most types of paper without a problem and the whole machine has only one single button to operate it...and surprisingly that's all it needs!
HP no longer makes this model so refurbished is all your'e going to find. Look for a good company with a proven track record like RefurbExperts. You will also need to purchase the toner for it, but it will generally be cheaper than the ones for the new printers (I've only changed mine once). Great printer, never had a lick of trouble from it. It prints fast text but pictures from pdf are a bit slow. I print aprox 200 copies a day with no problem and is overall a good solid product.
It also makes jobs quicker with auto feed in paper and envelopes. I have tried envelopes with sticky and with peel off and both are fine. - by bb7yo ()

this is not the first of this model printer that i owned. possibly, this is due to the fact that it is an HP - HP NEVER fails to please. but ther's something about the HP 1200...maybe because its such a great price yet still performs so well??!! - by bwa796 ()
