The Canon Color imageRUNNER C5800 Copier offers digital copying, mailbox features and Ethernet connectivity as part of its standard feature set. Optional features include a choice of: Canon's Color Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-C1 or the imagePASS-D1 for value-added network printing capabilities; Color Universal Send Kit-C1P for increased sending capabilities; Canon's Color Network ScanGear utility for TWAIN-scanning capabilities; and Super G3 Fax ii & iii capabilities.
The Canon Color IRC5800 Copier has versatile document handling and finishing capabilities to make businesses stand out above the rest. With digital enabled features such as Scan-Once-Print-Many and Job Build, the Canon Color imageRUNNER C5800 Copier makes quick work of scanning large volumes of hard copy originals. A standard 4,200-sheet capacity can easily be upgraded to support a voluminous 7,700-sheet feeder through a maximum of 6 paper sources. Moreover, the system can accommodate tab paper, stocks as large as 13"x 19" and paperweights up to 140lb. Index. Main Features
- The imageRUNNER C5800 offers black-and-white output speeds of up to 58 pages-per-minute with the ability to handle occasional color requirements at 16 pages-per-minute. The device also offers fast scanning at 70 pages-per-minute (300 dpi) and 50 pages-per-minute (600 dpi) for both color, and black and white.
With an innovative dual processor design, 768MB RAM, and a 40GB hard disk offered as standard, eliminating bottlenecks and improving overall network efficiency.
Supporting 600 x600 dpi scanning resolution and up to 2400 x 600 dpi printing resolution, the imageRUNNER C5800 ensures that every image is sharp, every gradation is smooth and every character crisp.
A sturdy aluminum die-cast frame allows the device to stand up to continuous long runs and high-output volumes.
Canon's Amorphous Silicon Drum delivers high reliability over millions of impressions for both black-and-white and color output.
With Canon's optional Color Universal Send technology, users are able to scan and distribute documents to multiple destinations.
Users may choose between two print controller options, the Canon-designed Color Network Multi-PDL Printer Kit-C1 or the imagePASS-D1v2. The Color Network Multi-PDL Kit-C1 delivers color printing capabilities with support for PCL 5c and PostScript®3™ emulation, and Canon's Ultra Fast Rendering (UFR) technology. For those users with higher bandwidth requirements, the imagePASS-D1 features its own hardware dedicated to printing applications, and supports genuine Adobe® PostScript 3 and PCL 5c emulation.
The imageRUNNER C5800's generous paper supply of 4,200 sheets can be boosted to a bountiful capacity of 7,700 sheets for virtual uninterrupted productivity.
With a standard 100-sheet Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder, the imageRUNNER C5800 handles multipage, single, or double-sided, and even different-sized originals quickly and easily.
The imageRUNNER C5800 supports large paper sizes of up to 13" x 19" and heavy weights of up to 140lb. Index, and can accommodate tab paper, transparencies, and irregular-sized media.
The imageRUNNER C5800 offers the Finisher-R1 and Saddle Finisher-R2 for those with advanced document finishing needs. Additionally, for customers requiring simple collating functions, the Copy Tray-K1 is available.
